We’re seeking committed, compassionate Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Pulmonologists as well as those with additional training and experience in Sleep Medicine to join the growing Department of Pediatrics at Ochsner Hospital for Children in New Orleans, the only children’s hospital in Louisiana to be ranked for seven years in a row as a Best Children’s Hospital by U.S. News & World Report. Responsibilities will include clinical care and teaching relating to asthma, congenital lung anomalies, and cystic fibrosis, as well as working with nine pediatric intensivists. In addition to patient care, there are responsibilities for the education of Tulane-Ochsner pediatric residents and medical students, and University of Queensland medical students. The successful candidate will be eligible for an academic appointment commensurate with experience.

This position offers exceptional resources and the opportunity for collaboration with collegial pediatric subspecialists including gastroenterology, allergy/immunology, ENT, cardiology, intensive care, orthopedic surgery, and palliative care. With the goal of providing comprehensive care to all pediatric pulmonary patients, ideal candidates for these roles will bring diverse interests and expertise in the field of pediatric pulmonology with the goal of allowing physicians to focus on their areas of interest. There is significant opportunity for program development.  Opportunities for research are also available.
