BC/BE Pediatrician – Join a Thriving, Well-Established Practice in Suburban Chicago

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate pediatrician to join Dr. Roma Franzia’s Pediatric Practice, working full-time or part-time at her medical home in the Chicago area. Serving patients in this well-established, successful practice since 1999, Dr. Franzia cares for more than 1,000 children and 500 families on the North Shore in her office in Winnetka, Illinois. We’re looking for a pediatrician to join the practice working ideally three days per week (plus every other Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m).
Considering herself an “old-fashioned doctor,” Dr. Franzia has devoted her life to caring for her patients – from newborns to young adults – on an individual and personalized basis. She created her pediatric practice to be a place where children feel safe, happy and empowered at every visit—including custom animal exam tables, toys for siblings, and even “Nemo” and “Dory” in the waiting room fish tank.
Located just 16 miles north of downtown Chicago, the Village of Winnetka continually ranks as one of the best places to live in Illinois—and was rated the second-best city to live in the U.S. in 2020 by 24/7 Wall St and “one of the best places to live’ by CNN Money in 2011.
With picturesque views on the banks of Lake Michigan – along with plenty of restaurants, parks, small-town spirit and charm – the village also boasts high-quality public schools, with one Winnetka high school ranked in the top 15 of Illinois schools by U.S. News & World Report. And with nearly 50% of all households with children under 18, there is a ample opportunity for the pediatricians joining the practice!
Winnetka is part of Chicago’s North Shore, a collection of inviting communities just north of the city center.
