Ranked as one of the nation’s Best Children’s Hospitals in six specialties by U.S. News & World Report in 2022-2023, we’re seeking a fellowship-trained, BE/BC Pediatric Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist to join Valley Children’s Healthcare, one of the country’s largest pediatric healthcare networks, in Madera, California. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine offers the opportunity to join an active anatomic pathology service that accessioned 8.506 specimens in 2021 including approximately 6,921 surgical specimens, 304 bone marrow biopsies, 1,279 cytology specimens and 4 autopsies. The clinical lab has divisions of microbiology, clinical chemistry, hematology, flow cytometry, molecular diagnostics and transfusion service, with a total annual volume of over 900,000 tests.
