Ranked in 2023-24 as one of the nation’s Best Children’s Hospitals in seven specialties by U.S. News & World Report and in Pediatric Urology for the fifth year in a row, Valley Children’s Healthcare is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Urologists to join their team in Madera, California. At Valley Children’s main campus, you’ll love working at this state-of-the-art, freestanding children’s hospital that sits on a 50-acre campus on the idyllic bluffs of the San Joaquin River, with the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains in view from the hospital. With 358 beds and a service area of 12 counties and more than 1.3 million children, the Pediatric Urology Practice at Valley Children’s provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for children from neonates through to 21 years of age.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a fully developed, high volume practice covering all aspects of pediatric urology. Valley Children’s team sees approximately 9,800 outpatient visits a year at the main hospital and specialty care centers in Central California including complex genital and urological conditions and disorders in infants, children, and young adults. The practice consists of board-certified pediatric urologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, dieticians, social workers, interpreters, and child life specialists. Responsibilities include clinical practice and active participation in the Stanford-affiliated pediatric resident training program with opportunities available to be involved in clinical research. Academic appointment will be recommended based on training and experience.
