Pediatric Search Partners has been engaged by Valley Children’s Healthcare to recruit Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neonatologists to join its growing newborn medicine team in the Fresno/Madera area and throughout Central California.

Opportunities span an eight-hospital regional network — Valley Children’s Hospital plus seven partner hospitals — with practice environments ranging from highly complex Level IV neonatal care to high-volume Level III and community-based Level II programs.

Level IV Neonatology — Valley Children’s Hospital

For neonatologists who thrive on clinical complexity, Valley Children’s Hospital offers the opportunity to practice in an 88-bed Level IV NICU serving as Central California’s primary referral center for critically ill and medically complex newborns.

As the only Level IV NICU serving a 12-county region between Los Angeles and San Francisco, the program cares for infants with extreme prematurity, congenital anomalies and complex medical and surgical conditions. The NICU maintains an average daily census of approximately 60 infants and is supported by experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and comprehensive pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists throughout the 358-bed freestanding children’s hospital.

Who We Are Seeking

Valley Children’s welcomes both experienced neonatologists and exceptional graduating fellows. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, have completed an ACGME-accredited Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship and be eligible for California medical licensure.
