Ranked repeatedly among the Best Children’s Hospitals in the nation by U.S. News & World Report and in eight specialties in 2022-23, we’re seeking two Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Rheumatologists to join the well-established team at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. At 234 beds, Levine Children’s – the largest children’s hospital between Washington, D.C., and Atlanta – has more than 150 specialists in 30 specialties and treats more pediatric patients each day than any other hospital in North Carolina. A clinical faculty appointment commensurate with experience is available with Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

Join a collaborative group – including two board-certified pediatric rheumatologists, three nurses, a social worker, dietician, and a physical therapist – expanding to meet the needs in the Charlotte metropolitan area. This position offers the chance to excel in the clinical, research, educational, quality improvement and community service functions of the Department of Pediatrics.

Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital includes four pediatric hospitalist teams, a 20-bed PICU (including cardiac ICU), an 85-bed NICU, and an inpatient pediatric rehabilitation facility. Levine Children’s also hosts a premier Pediatrics Residency Program, serves as a teaching hospital for students at the Wake Forest School of Medicine, and offers excellent support for clinical research and quality improvement.
