Description

A well-established, thriving private pediatric practice is looking to welcome a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician to its team. Offering exceptional potential and a highly attractive compensation package, this opportunity is perfect for the physician seeking to live in a location with a pleasant pace of life and who enjoys the outdoors. Located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, the practice is nestled between Chattanooga and Atlanta. Those who have settled down in this area enjoy the small-town feel and the lower cost of living. Compared to the national average of 100, this area’s cost of living is 82.2, with Atlanta clocking in at 107.5.

As a community known for its medical facilities, this practice offers a competitive base salary with a guaranteed annual raise. It also provides yearly holiday and production bonuses. Offering a desirable work-life balance, you’ll appreciate this 100% outpatient position. Other day-to-day amenities this practice provides are:

  • A shared call rotation of 1:8, “mommy call” only. No hospital call.
  • An in-house neonatologist who covers deliveries
  • Zero ancillary work (shots, labs)
  • A dedicated ancillary staff (LPN/MOA)

With such competitive compensation, the benefits offered by this desirable practice include malpractice coverage, an excellent dollar-for-dollar retirement match, paid vacation, and CME with CME stipend. The practice is also an approved site for the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program (Up to $25,000 per year). In addition to each of these perks, you’ll immediately sense the welcoming atmosphere of the staff. The team’s commitment to those served throughout the region is evident, with the founding physician named one of America’s Best Physicians in 2018.

You’ll find the ease and pace of life desirable, knowing you have everything you need at your fingertips. With a one-hour drive to both metropolitan areas of Atlanta and Chattanooga, you have access to big-city amenities when you want it. The lifestyle offered by this community is diverse, offering numerous outdoor activities, cultural programs, and historical locations. Known for its friendly nature, safety, and superb educational opportunities, you’ll want to plant roots here. The median temperature is 79ºF, so when you’re not seeing patients, you’ll be able to spend time outside all year round.

Ideal candidates are highly dedicated, compassionate, loyal, team-oriented, and looking to make a long-term commitment.

This position is an exceptional opportunity that won’t last long. For immediate consideration and full details, please contact Glenda Church Smith, Principal at Pediatric Search Partners, via email at glenda@pediatricsearchpartners.com.
