***FILLED*** Pediatric Otolaryngology Opening with One of the Nation’s Largest Pediatric Healthcare Networks
Ranked as one of the nation’s Best Children’s Hospitals in four specialties by U.S. News & World Report in 2018-2019, we are seeking Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatric Otolaryngologists to join the growing team at one of the nation’s largest pediatric healthcare networks, Valley Children’s Healthcare, in Madera, California.
At Valley Children’s main campus, you’ll love working at this state-of-the-art, 358-bed free-standing children’s hospital that sits on a 50-acre campus on the idyllic bluffs of the San Joaquin River, with the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains in view from the hospital. With a service area of 11 counties and more than 1.3 million children, the Pediatric Otolaryngology Practice at Valley Children’s has a team of five physicians providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for children from neonates through to 21 years of age. As the only dedicated pediatric head and neck surgery group in Central California, Valley Children’s team performs about 3,300 operations a year and participates in lecturing, publishing and teaching. In addition to pediatric fellowship-trained physicians, the team includes highly skilled pediatric nurses and psychosocial support staff, including social workers, interpreters, and child life specialists. Responsibilities include clinical practice and active participation in the Stanford-affiliated pediatric resident training program.
Located near the center of the California, you’ll enjoy an exceptional quality of life with an unparalleled opportunity to live within one to three hours of the magnificent Pacific coast, the breathtaking Sierra Nevada mountains and the cultural amenities of the San Francisco, San Jose and Los Angeles metropolitan areas. Sonoma and Napa counties and Lake Tahoe all are within a four-drive. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy living in the only city in the nation to have not just one, but three National Parks (Yosemite, King’s Canyon and Sequoia) right in your own backyard. Whether you prefer the snow, the sun or the sand, it’s all within your reach. Another perk: The area is very affordable, and it boasts award-winning schools, making it a perfect choice for families.
Valley Children’s offers an excellent support staff along with a busy, growing practice and a strong compensation package, including relocation and signing bonus.
