Pediatric Search Partners has been engaged to identify Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Otolaryngologists to join the expanding Division of Otolaryngology at the main campus of Texas Children's Hospital located in downtown Houston, Texas. Currently expansion is underway with construction of a new Texas Children's Hospital in Austin, Texas. Scheduled to open in February 2024, we are excited to welcome candidates for this new location in addition to recruitment for the team at The Woodlands, Texas campus.
Texas Children’s Hospital is honored to have been recognized as the #2 children’s hospital in the nation by U.S. News & World Report in 2022-23. In addition, this year all ten specialties at Texas Children’s were ranked in the top ten and the hospital is ranked #1 both in Texas and in the Southwest.
Here you will join a team of 24 pediatric otolaryngologists and 12 advanced practice providers across multiple locations in the region to provide a full range of pediatric otolaryngology services with multiple specialty teams, including the aerodigestive, cochlear implant, vascular malformations, thyroid, head and neck tumor, velopharyngeal insufficiency, microtia, voice and complex sleep teams. At the main campus, there are two ACGME pediatric otolaryngology fellows and three Baylor otolaryngology residents.
In addition to a strong clinical background in otolaryngology, we’re seeking candidates with a demonstrated interest in pursuing research or teaching (medical students, residents, fellows, biomedical scientists, and allied health professionals) in an academic division which supports an active residency training program.
Faculty appointments are through Baylor College of Medicine.
About Texas Children’s Hospital
Texas Children's Hospital is the largest children’s hospital in the country with 973 licensed beds over three hospital campuses and six specialty centers in the Houston area and the new hospital opening in Austin in early 2024.
The new 365,000 square foot Texas Children’s Hospital campus in North Austin will weave the unique culture and geography of Austin and the Texas Hill Country into the facility. An outdoor therapy space will serve as a respite for patients, families and employees, and each floor of the new hospital will display a different theme based on Central Texas landscapes.
