Ranked as one of the nation’s Best Children’s Hospitals in seven specialties by U.S. News & World Report in 2021-2022 and recognized in 2019 and 2020 as one of the nation’s top 10 children’s hospitals in patient safety and quality by The Leapfrog Group, we are seeking Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Cardiologists with additional fellowship training and experience in Interventional Cardiology to join the group at one of the nation’s largest pediatric healthcare networks, Valley Children’s Healthcare.
At the Valley Children’s Hospital main campus in Madera, you’ll love working at this state-of-the-art free-standing children’s hospital with 358 regional beds. The setting is a 50-acre campus on the idyllic bluffs of the San Joaquin River, with the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains in view from the hospital. With a service area of 12 counties and more than 1.3 million children, pediatric heart care has been a Valley Children’s priority for more than 60 years.
The Willson Heart Center has a team of 12 board certified pediatric cardiologists, three interventional cardiologists and two pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons caring for patients across a comprehensive range of heart conditions and diseases. The outpatient practice at Valley Children’s Hospital and at the outreach centers in Modesto, Merced, Visalia, Bakersfield, and San Luis Obispo, provide assessment and follow-up care for more than 9,000 outpatients each year with known or suspected cardiac, cardiopulmonary and cardiovascular disease.
