New Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Opening – Growing #2 Ranked Children’s Hospital

We’re seeking a board eligible and/or board certified, fellowship-trained Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon for a new opening to join the team of well-respected surgeons at Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands. The position is employed by Baylor College of Medicine, and academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
In addition to providing the full spectrum of pediatric orthopedic surgery care, the successful candidate will also participate in shared call (1:5) at this Level 2 trauma hospital. Full participation in the education programs of the Department in coordination with the Chief of the Division of Orthopedic Surgery will also be expected. General pediatric surgeons are welcomed. Interest and demonstrated skills and experience in areas such as sports medicine and limb deformity correction are desirable, but not required for consideration.

The Orthopedic Surgery service is the premier orthopedic surgical provider in the greater Houston region and beyond, including south and eastern Texas with international patients, as well. The pediatric orthopedic program includes 17 pediatric orthopedists spread across three hospital campuses.
Qualifications
- M.D./D.O.
- Successful completion of the ACGME Orthopedic Surgery Residency
- Successful completion of fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery
- Board-eligible/board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery
- Must have or be eligible for an unrestricted Texas medical license
