We’re seeking Board Eligible/Board Certified Developmental and Behavioral Pediatricians for an exciting opportunity with Ochsner Hospital for Children’s new dedicated state-of-the-art comprehensive child development center opening this year in New Orleans, Louisiana.

For more than 75 years, Ochsner has offered a level of pediatric care unmatched in Louisiana and more advanced capabilities than any other children’s hospital in New Orleans. The Michael R. Boh Center for Child Development will fill a critical need for specialized pediatric care in Louisiana and will be the only facility to offer this type of comprehensive care in the region under one roof. Physicians with special interests in neuromuscular disorders and cognitive/communication/behavioral disorders are desired but not required for consideration.

The group is the region’s leading integrated provider of multispecialty care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults offering a full range of pediatric services, including solid organ transplantation and pediatric cardiovascular surgery. In addition to the NICU, current facilities include a 26-bed PICU (14-bed Med/Surg and 12-bed CVICU), and a 35-bed General Pediatric Unit.

Located in one of our most vibrant cultural cities, this nonprofit, academic, multi-specialty institution is the recipient of numerous awards, including Healthgrades’ Distinguished Hospitals for Clinical Excellence, which places Ochsner in the top 5 percent of U.S. hospitals for clinical outcomes. Ochsner also has a combined residency program with Tulane University Medical School. Medical students from Tulane and the University of Queensland/Ochsner Clinical School rotate through the division. The successful candidate will be eligible for an academic appointment commensurate with experience.
