Perinatology Openings in the Heart of California
Valley Children’s Healthcare, including one of the largest freestanding children’s hospitals in the nation, is rapidly expanding to serve the needs of growing families throughout California’s Central Valley.
We’re seeking two BC/BE Perinatologists to join the Maternal-Fetal Center at Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera in building and developing the Center’s outreach practice in nearby Visalia in partnership with Kaweah Delta. Valley Children’s also maintains a partnership with Stanford Children’s Health.
With nationally recognized, board certified surgeons and physicians in more than 40 pediatric specialties onsite, the Maternal-Fetal Center brings the best of maternal-fetal, neonatal and pediatric medicine together in one place. This is a thriving MFM practice established in 2010 that has grown to seven Perinatologists and offers a strong, supportive OB/GYN referral base. Valley Children’s state-of-the-art, 358-bed facility includes an 88-bed Level III NICU, ranked by U.S. News and World Report as one of the best in the nation in neonatology, and more than 550 physicians.
Just 45 minutes away in nearby Tulare County, Kaweah Delta offers a 581-bed, eight-campus healthcare district with more than 300 physicians and 4,000 employees, nearly 1,000 of which are registered nurses. These practice settings offer tremendous potential for professional growth and a strong financial compensation package, including relocation and signing bonus. These communities are welcoming and very affordable and offer a great place to live.
The Valley Children’s network spans one of the most geographically diverse locations in the United States. Ideally situated in the heart of California’s Central Valley in one of the state’s fastest-growing and most beautiful geographic locations, the region offers unparalleled access to three U.S. National Parks.
Located less than 60 miles from Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks, the area is an outdoor lover’s paradise, offering everything from hiking, mountain biking and skiing to kayaking and fishing, to name only a few possibilities. Plus, it’s within one to three hours of the magnificent Pacific coast and Wine Country, is approximately 3 ½ hours from the San Francisco, San Jose and Los Angeles metropolitan areas and is a four-hour drive from Lake Tahoe.
