Ranked as one of the nation’s Best Children’s Hospitals in seven specialties by U.S. News & World Report in 2020-2021 and as a Top 10 Children’s Hospital by The Leapfrog Group in 2019 and 2020, we are seeking fellowship-trained, Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatric Anatomic and Clinical Pathologists for one of the country’s largest pediatric healthcare network, Valley Children’s Healthcare located in Madera, California. Experience in Pediatric Hematopathology is preferred but not required for consideration. This position offers a highly competitive compensation package, including relocation and signing bonus.

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine offers the opportunity to join an active anatomic pathology service that accessioned 9,400 specimens in 2019 including approximately 8100 surgical specimens, 300 bone marrow biopsies, 1,000 cytology specimens and 20 autopsies.  The clinical lab has divisions of microbiology, clinical chemistry, hematology, flow cytometry, molecular diagnostics and transfusion service, with a total annual volume of over 900,000 tests.
