Pediatric Hematology/Oncology – Las Vegas
We’re seeking passionate Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologists to join the growing team at Cure 4 The Kids Foundation, Nevada’s only childhood cancer treatment center and facility for pediatric catastrophic diseases.
Based in Las Vegas, Cure 4 The Kids Foundation has treated more than 40,000 patients since its founding in 2007. The Foundation blends the structure and vigor of the best clinical practices found in centers of excellence – practices normally reserved for large corporate and/or academic healthcare environments -- with the responsibility and generosity of philanthropy. This hybrid model allows the organization to function like a professional healthcare entity in terms of clinical outcomes, yet also allows staff to be deeply human in their interactions with patients and their families. Its Charity Care Program ensures that those without medical insurance or who are unable to pay for services receive the treatment they need. Cure 4 The Kids Foundation was selected in 2019 as one of the nation’s Best Nonprofit Organizations To Work For by The Best Companies Group in its annual nationwide survey, and was included in the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in America in 2018.
The Foundation offers employees a robust benefits package including medical, vision, dental, 401(k) savings plan, long-term disability, travel insurance and life insurance, a wellness program including onsite yoga, and pet insurance.
Las Vegas offers an exceptional quality of life, an average of 300 days of sunshine a year, a strong local economy, and a low cost of living compared with other major U.S. cities. Despite its reputation for nightlife, suburban Las Vegas offers a variety of family-oriented communities along with world-class cultural institutions, some of the best restaurants in the country, year-round recreational opportunities, and access to a multitude of state and national parks including the Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Valley of Fire, and Yosemite. Skiing and snowboarding are an hour’s drive away in the Spring Mountains.
You’ll also love this perk: Nevada residents pay no state income tax.
These are exceptional opportunities to bring your passion and expertise to the fight against childhood cancer and enjoy an active lifestyle outside of work.
