    We're seeking Board Eligible and Board Certified Neonatologists to join the nationally-recognized team at Valley Children's Healthcare in Madera, California, including one of the nation's largest free-standing children's hospitals. U.S. News & World Report has ranked Valley Children's Hospital as one of the best children's hospitals in the country in neonatology in the new 2016-2017 Best Children's Hospitals ranking. 

    Situated in the center of one of California's most stunning geographic areas, Valley Children's Hospital (formerly Children's Hospital Central California) has the largest NICU in California.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of 13 amazing physicians who provide incredible care in a warm, welcoming environment while enjoying interesting, challenging cases.  At Valley Children's main campus, you'll love working at a stunning, state-of-the-art, 358-bed facility that sits on a 50-acre campus on the idyllic bluffs of the San Joaquin River, with the Sierra Nevada Mountains as your backdrop.  A Magnet Nursing facility, Valley Children's offers an exceptional support staff along with a busy, growing practice that includes an excellent compensation package.

    Valley Children's offers Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care - the highest level of care available for neonates and infants between Los Angeles and the Bay Area - in its 88-bed NICU, which includes 21 private and semi-private rooms.  Valley Children's physicians and staff provide Intermediate Neonatal Intensive Care for neonates and infants in its NICU's at partner hospitals in the region - Saint Agnes Medical Center, Fresno (eight-bed community Level III unit and six-bed Level II unit), Mercy Medical Center, Merced (eight-bed unit) and Central Valley General Hospital, Hanford (four-bed unit).The network also maintains a partnership with Stanford Children's Health.

    Valley Children's sees more than 1,100 fragile babies and has 25,000 patient days annually.  The outcomes with neonates under 1,500 grams are consistently better than other comparable centers in California.
